Photography Submission Terms

1. Eligibility and agreement

By submitting photographs, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to make this agreement, or that the submission is made by a parent or legal guardian with authority to act.

2. Your ownership

You retain ownership of your photographs. Submission does not transfer copyright to Azure & Verdant Vistas, LLC.

3. Rights and permissions you confirm

• You created the submitted material or control all rights needed to submit it.
• The submission does not infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark or other rights.
• You have permission from identifiable people depicted and from a parent or guardian for any identifiable minor.
• You have any location, artwork, property or event permissions reasonably required for the proposed editorial use.
• The information and credit details you provide are accurate.

4. Limited review license

You grant Azure & Verdant Vistas, LLC a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to receive, store, copy, resize and display the material privately to staff and service providers solely for review, moderation, security and contributor communication. This limited license ends when the submission is deleted, except for secure backups or records lawfully retained.

5. Publication requires separate confirmation

Submitting a photograph does not guarantee publication and does not, by itself, authorize public editorial use. If we wish to publish a submission, we will contact you first to confirm the intended use, credit, edits, timing and any compensation or additional license terms in writing.

6. Content standards

Do not submit illegal, exploitative, hateful, threatening, defamatory, deceptive or malicious material. Sensitive material must be accurately disclosed in the form. We may reject or remove a submission at our discretion, particularly where rights, safety, authenticity or suitability cannot be confirmed.

7. Editorial review and alterations

For private review we may generate thumbnails, resize files or make technical format changes. We will not materially edit or publish a photograph without the separate confirmation described above. We may contact you for original files, captions, dates, locations, releases or other verification.

8. Privacy, retention and withdrawal

Submission information is handled under the Privacy Policy. You may withdraw an unpublished submission by emailing info@azureandverdant.com with “Photo Submission Withdrawal” in the subject line. We will remove it from active review on a reasonable operational schedule, subject to backups, legal obligations and records needed to document the request.

9. No confidential submission

Do not send trade secrets, confidential material or images that create a safety risk if reviewed by our authorized team. Although submissions are not public during review, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
