Azure & Verdant Lifestyle is an independent digital publication of Azure & Verdant Vistas, LLC. This policy applies to azureandverdant.com, ezine.azureandverdant.com and the forms and editorial experiences made available through those sites.
2. Information we collect
We collect information only when it supports a specific editorial, operational or security purpose.
- Feedback and reader responses, including the words you submit, an optional email address, language, source and follow-up preference.
- Photography submissions, including your name, email address, uploaded files, editorial note, rights confirmations and moderation information.
- Correspondence you send to us by email.
- Limited technical information that may be generated by our hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser or device type, request time and error or security logs.
- If an email subscription is introduced, the address and consent information you deliberately provide. No active newsletter signup is currently offered on the site.
3. How we use information
- Operate, maintain and secure the publication.
- Receive, moderate and respond to feedback or editorial submissions.
- Evaluate photographs for possible editorial use and contact contributors before any publication.
- Understand technical performance and correct errors.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms and protect readers, contributors and the publication.
4. No sale of personal information
Azure & Verdant Vistas, LLC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently use advertising trackers to follow readers across unrelated websites.
5. Service providers and legal disclosures
Trusted providers may process limited information on our behalf for hosting, storage, form delivery, security or other contracted operations. They are permitted to use that information only to provide those services. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate abuse or protect rights and safety.
6. Cookies and similar technology
The publication does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking. Essential browser storage or similar technology may be used by the site or its hosting services for security, language preferences and core operation. If our practices materially change, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before or when the change takes effect.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as it remains reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, editorial records, security, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Rejected or withdrawn photography submissions are removed on a reasonable operational schedule unless preservation is required. You may request deletion, but some records may be retained where law or legitimate operational needs permit.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain uses. We will verify and respond to qualifying requests as required by applicable law. Send requests to info@azureandverdant.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
9. Children’s privacy
The publication is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information may contact us to request its removal.
10. Security and international access
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle. No online service can promise absolute security. Information may be processed in the United States, where Azure & Verdant Vistas, LLC operates and its service providers maintain systems.
11. External links and policy changes
Our stories and item finders may link to independent websites. Their privacy practices are their own. We may update this policy as the publication evolves; the effective date above will identify the latest revision.
